Tess Monteith and her daughter Francesca cycled an incredible 5000 miles from Shanghai to Venice along the Silk Route. They endured many burst tyres, dog bites, and cold showers to raise money for Scotland’s Air Ambulance Charity aiming to raise £1 per mile. They biked via the mountains of Sichuan, the Taklamakan desert, and across the Tian Shan mountain range to Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan, and then on to the Caspian to the Caucasus, the Black sea and the Balkans to eventually arrive in the magnificent Venice! Join us at Scone Palace to continue her efforts to raise money for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance.

If you are unable to come to the event at Scone please donate to SCAA here on Tess Monteith’s Just Giving Page and read her brilliantly written blog here.
